ASSIGNMENT 01 - INTRODUCTION TO 3D CREATION
For our first assignment, we were tasked to complete 3 complete outfit variations using CLO3D.
1st Variation:
Basic bodice block and skirt.
For this design, I had drafted a pattern for a basic bodice and skirt following the guidance of Dr.Alshaima. After drafting the basic bodice on the 2D pattern, I continued to simulate the garment by adjusting it around the body to check the fit of the garment.
On the 1st fit, I found out that the bodice was slightly loose. So, I reduced the waist size sinching it in.
This is the final outcome of the 1st Variation:

2nd Variation:
For my 2nd Variation, I decided to do a short, ruffled sleeves with a dip V-neck front and back bodice paired with a pencil skirt.
As for the patter, I adjusted the front bodice neckline to a V-neck (same with the back) and used rectangle strips for the ruffled strips. I had to adjust the elasticity of the ruffles a number of times to get a clean look for the final outcome. As for the skirt, I had just adjusted the length of the 1st variation's skirt.

For the third variation, I decided to do a circle top with a skintight legging trousers with the ends as ruffles.
For the pattern of this design, I followed instructions from Dr.Alshaimaa because my top wasn't fitting right as she suggested a different method to go about it.
As for the pants pattern, I used the sample pattern block that was provided and traced over it.
