 GARMENT CREATION TECHNOLOGY 1  ASSIGNMENT 1 During our first week of class, we were briefed on the semesters schedule and flow of all future assignments. Then we started with our first assignment.  For our first assignment, we were tasked with creating a Clo3D version of one of our previous designs. I chose to remake the kids' adaptive clothing design I developed in the previous semester. Top Front Top Back Pants Front Pants Back These were the designs that I chose to transfer to Clo3D. I did make a few adjustments to the design when recreating it in Clo3D as I was unable to replicate the exact design.  As for the top, I removed the snap button detail and also the zip flap. Instead, I made the zip a 2-way zipper on CLO3D. Besides that, there was a box pleat at the back of the top. As I was unable to replicate that detail on CLO3D, I replaced it with a gather stitch to have a similar function for the top, ease movement.  Final outcome:  Front Back Technical...

Fashion Design Technology Final Project 1

 FASHION DESIGN TECHNOLOGY FINAL PROJECT 1  WEEK 1 During our first week of class, we were briefed on all of our assignments and the rough flow of this semester. We were also asked to print out images that inspires our final collection during our break and present it in class.  Design Research:  I began on my research for my final semester 2 weeks before the semester started. I had a rough idea of the goals that I wanted to reach for this semester and also a rough design inspiration.  For this semester, I was looking into more of a rustic, vintage and grunge feel for my collection. These are some of the examples; Figure 1: Cottagecore vibes with a slight vintage touch.  Fashion Design Technology Final Project 2 FINAL ILLUSTRATION:  PATTERN ADJUSTMENTS FROM PREVIOUS SEMESTERS: Look 1 :  - Pattern for lining base. - Leg Warmers (additional accessory).  Look 2 :  - Facing for the pufferjacket bottom of the bodice and ends of sleeves.  - 2nd Layer for flared pants  Look 3:  - Adjust the gap for the back panel of the bodice.  Look 4:  - Make sleeves more flared by using circle pattern for sleeves.  - Add lining for inner skirt.  FINAL GARMENT CONSTRUCTION LOOK 1  Starting with my Look 1. I decided to do a few fabric ssamplings for this designs as I wanted each layer to be a different fabric texture.
